Put this yummy twist on your next pork loin; wrap it in Prosciutto. Prosciutto wrapped pork loin is so deliciously crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. Serve it with a vegetable or starch side and you have a great meal. For another layer of flavor, you could stuff the pork loin with an herb paste, mushrooms or basic stuffing before wrapping.
Prep time: 10 minutes prep, plus 45 minutes bake time
- 1 boneless pork loin
- 3 – 4 slices of proscuitto
- Salt, pepper, basil, oregano, thyme and garlic powder – quanto basta (as much as needed; to taste)
- 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Put olive oil in the bottom of a small roasting pan.
Sprinkle with salt, pepper and other herbs.
Wrap loin with slices of prosciutto.
Put in oven to bake for 45 minutes or until proscuitto is crispy and internal temperature of loin is 160-165 degrees. Slice and serve. Optional: Place pork loin on a bed of rice or greens for a pleasing plate.
